Caption : Beauty Spot: Konapura Island just two kilometers from Goruru Dam on Hassan Arakalgud Main Road in Hassan District. The island is surrounded by Hemavathi back water and many surrounding people may not know this beauty spot. Earlier, only during summer visitors were able to reach this Island, 5-6 years back this road was constructed by Forest Department to reach the island and its Ranganatha Swamy temple at all seasons, and they are planning to arrange for boating for public shortly.
